  On Friday last, Hubby & I decided to finish a long week with something to eat in The Celtic Ross Hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my Tagliatelle with Rosscarbery Black Pudding Sausage, Mushrooms & Walnuts - savouring every bite. It was probably a bit much as I had started with Caesar Salad which arrived with warm chicken (a lovely touch); a variety of bread croutons & plenty of chopped bacon & Parmesan shavings. Hubby enjoyed the Seafood Plate to begin but missed a couple of slices of bread to accompany it. His main course of Fish was but a memory as he cleared his plate. Of course, I wasn't having dessert but am so glad I succumbed to temptation. Both were gorgeous and obviously made in-house. Satisfied & replete we returned home to light the fire on a cold damp evening.

  Great location and great service and stay. The staff are also very helpful, with special mention the Maxine at reception.
